Statement
I have a background as a printmaker and as a scientific illustrator specializing in geology, and I incorporate my well-honed skills into my art. I use acrylic mediums on paper, wood and metal to share my dreams, emotions, and the physical observations I have noticed from my travels. My visual vocabulary includes odd shapes, unique textures, irregular surfaces and multiple layers, which playfully integrate and materialize for the observer as a visual puzzle to enjoy.
